New Delhi [India], May 9: Santosh Bapu Waychal, a renowned entrepreneur and social worker, has come a long way since his humble beginnings in Mohol, Solapur district, Maharashtra. Born on October 8, 1982, to farmer parents Bapu and Sunita Waychal, Santosh was instilled with the values of hard work and determination from a young age.
Santosh’s educational journey began at the Mohol Zilla Parishad School No. 1, where he completed his primary education. He later attended the Kadlas High School in Kadlas, Mangola taluka, Solapur district, where he completed his 9th standard.
At the age of 18, Santosh took on the responsibility of supporting his family financially. He worked as a tailor in various shops in Mohol, earning a meagre daily wage of Rs. 50-100. Despite the financial struggles, Santosh continued to learn and improve his tailoring skills.
In 2000, Santosh’s friend introduced him to the concept of part-time business, which sparked his interest in entrepreneurship. He joined a network marketing company, Amway, and began working on a part-time basis. Although the income was modest, Santosh gained valuable experience and skills in sales, marketing, and leadership.
Santosh’s journey in network marketing continued, and he eventually joined another company, where he achieved success and earned a decent income. However, the company’s closure due to unforeseen circumstances left Santosh with significant financial liabilities.
Undeterred, Santosh continued to explore new opportunities. He joined a real estate company and worked as a contractor, completing various projects in Solapur and surrounding areas. However, the lack of transparency and unfair practices in the industry led Santosh to re-evaluate his priorities.
In 2015, Santosh decided to venture into the real estate industry once again, this time as a partner in a new company, Siddh Nagesh Builders and Developers. Along with his partners, Sagar Shinde and Sachin Bhosale, Santosh worked tirelessly to establish the company’s reputation in the market.
Their hard work paid off, and the company completed several successful projects in Pandharpur and surrounding areas. Santosh’s dedication to his work and his commitment to delivering quality projects earned him recognition and respect in the industry.
Apart from his business ventures, Santosh is also actively involved in social work. He is the founder and president of the Manuskhi Foundation, Maharashtra, which works towards providing education, healthcare, and employment opportunities to underprivileged communities.
Santosh’s journey is a testament to his resilience, determination, and passion for entrepreneurship and social work. Despite facing numerous challenges and setbacks, he continues to inspire and motivate others through his work and achievements.
