Ahmedabad (Gujarat) [India], December 31: Ahmedabad-born DJ and music producer Yashh Patel, popularly known as DJ Yashh, is redefining the music scene with his innovative blend of techno, trance and Bollywood influences. In a career spanning close to two decades, DJ Yashh has entertained and enthralled audiences not just in India but around the world.
Combining the high-energy rhythms of techno and trance with the nostalgia of Bollywood and the serenity of mantra-inspired tracks, DJ Yashh has carved out a unique musical niche. His signature style reimagines classic Bollywood melodies, presenting them in a modern electronic format that resonates with today’s generation.
“Youngsters often overlook traditional mantras and old Bollywood classics. By infusing them with contemporary beats, I have found a way to transform classic Bollywood hits into immersive techno experiences and connect these timeless sounds with today’s audiences,” says DJ Yashh.
His musical journey began at 15 when he discovered his passion for sound engineering, music production and DJing. He mastered various musical instruments in his quest to become a performing artist and music composer. Over the years, he has composed 62 tracks spanning genres like Bollywood, techno, trance and progressive house.
As a live performer, DJ Yashh has performed at nearly 500 events. Beginning with private shows and parties, he gradually started performing at clubs, corporate events and commercial nights. He has given more than 100 performances at major festivals, clubs and weddings to date.
On December 31, he delivered a high-energy set at a trance party in Rishikesh, showcasing his ability to captivate diverse crowds. His performances are marked by a deep understanding of musical genres and an intuitive ability to read and energise audiences.
“There is a growing appetite for experimental and immersive music experiences. My mission is to deliver those experiences through innovative compositions and performances,” says DJ Yashh.
A self-taught artist, DJ Yashh’s path was shaped by his determination to master DJing and music production in an era when professional training was scarce in India. His experimental approach and innovation have made him a standout figure in the music industry.
Beyond creating music, DJ Yashh is dedicated to mentoring and training aspiring DJs and people who are passionate about music. He believes that “music is the answer” to many of the world’s challenges and views his craft as a tool for connection and inspiration.
