Lanjigarh (Odisha) [India], June 20: Vedanta Lanjigarh, India’s leading producer of smelter-grade alumina and a part of Vedanta Aluminium, recently hosted a unique scrap art sculpture competition to turn industrial scrap into awe-inspiring works of art. This vibrant celebration of innovation, sustainability, and teamwork brought together dynamic teams comprising employees and business partners, each led by departmental heads, in a spirited showcase of imagination and collaboration.

The teams transformed everyday waste into visually striking sculptures to enhance the workplace. Each creation reflected a commitment to Vedanta’s core values of resource optimization, creative thinking, and sustainability.

Pranab Bhattacharya, CEO – Vedanta Alumina Business, Lanjigarh “At Vedanta, we believe that true innovation thrives when our people are empowered to think differently. This initiative not only brought our teams together but also sparked a culture of imaginative problem-solving and sustainable thinking. We are proud to nurture a workplace where creativity is celebrated and every individual has the freedom to contribute in unique, impactful ways.”

More than an art competition, the event served as a robust platform to strengthen inter-departmental collaboration and foster meaningful dialogue around waste-to-wealth practices. This initiative underscores Vedanta Aluminium’s continued commitment to cultivating a progressive, future-ready workplace.
