Uttar Pradesh [India], April 22: The Uttar Pradesh Pro Volleyball League (UPPVL) successfully launched its official player trials to scout volleyball talent across the state. The first phase took place in Varanasi on March 29 and 30, with over 200+ players participating in the trials. This initiative aimed to provide players, especially those from villages and small towns, a platform to showcase their skills, play alongside national-level athletes, and gain exposure through national and international broadcasts.
The overwhelming response from players in Varanasi has set high expectations for the upcoming trials in Lucknow, Noida, and Muzaffarnagar. With such a positive turnout, the next phases are expected to be even more exciting and competitive. Dates for the trials in these cities will be announced soon.

Players selected from each trial will be entered into the UPPVL Player Auction, where teams will build their squads. The league will be broadcast nationally and internationally, offering unmatched visibility to local talent.
