New Delhi (India), November 25: According to the Hindu calendar, the birth of Shyam Baba is celebrated on the Ekadashi of Kartik Shukla Paksha, which is falls on 23 November. Devuthani Ekadashi also happens on this day, the birth anniversary of Shri Shyam Baba, who is worshiped in the name of Lord Shri Krishna in Kaliyuga. To make birth anniversary of Khatu Shyam, a grand program was organized in Khatu Shyam Delhi Dham, said said by Ghanshyam Gupta Zaveri, National President of Khatu Shyam Dilli Dham. They further told that on this day, the tradition of offering flag to Khatu Shyam is considered ancient and special. Yagya, chanting of mantras and offerings are made on this day. A long queue of devotees was seen in the Khatu Shyam Dilli Dham temple since early morning today, today about ten lakh people had darshan of Khatu Baba and Banke Bihari and congratulated Khatu Baba on his birthday and many devotees also cut the cake and greeted the devotees.
