    New Delhi (India) July 24 : Tapan Acharya receives Shri.Pushkar Singh Dham ji, Chief Minister of Uttarakhand to   Watch match between Uttarakhand v/s Himachal Pradesh  in National Championship of Roll Ball (Sub) Junior In Dehradun Uttarakhand.

    On 27th April 2024 it was a rainy day in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. While we all know that Uttarakhand  is preparing to host the 38th National Games in DevBhoomi Uttarakhand. There are several sports events  being held on a regular basis in Uttarakhand nowadays.

    This year the National Championship of Roll Ball (Sub)Junior was hosted in Dehradun,Uttarakhand by Uttarakhand Roll Ball Association(URBA) which is affiliated to Roll Ball Federation of India(RBFI)a parent body for Roll Ball in India.For the first time in the history of Roll Ball India, Uttarakhand Association hosted for recorded 28 state and UT teams in Devbhoomi. Which is almost 600 players,support staff, technical officials, parents & gurdain, others included Association and Federation office bearer.

    Tapan Acharya President of RBFI (Parent Indian Body) was present and personally monitoring the 4 days Event with Uttarakhand Roll Ball Association’s(State body) President Mr. Pankaj Bhardwaj and (State body) Gen Sec Chitraanjali Negi. 

    It was a surprise visit by Shri. Pushkar Singh Dhami, Chief Minister of Uttarakhand to watch the game of  Uttarakhand v/s Himachal in Knockout Round for semi final. He was received and facilitated by Shri Tapan Acharya and members of RBFI including the founder of Roll Ball Shri.Raju Dabhade, Chief Minister was excited and happy to see the euphoria during the match. He was more thrilled  to see the participation and audience response. He meet players from both the team and wished  them a bright future. It’s confirmed  from the sources that CM said he ll help to have Roll Ball in the list of 38th National Games. It is said he has assured all support for development of game in Uttarakhand.

    On the   last day of the National Championship Shri Subodh Daniyal, Forest and Environment Minister of Uttarakhand and ADG Amit Sinha ji, were the Chief Guest and Guest of Honor for the Medal Ceremony. Tapan Acharya thanks the Chief Minister, Environment Minister and ADG and all of Uttarakhand  depts for helping and hold such a grand event.
