Ahmedabad (Gujarat) [India], July 28: As a part of the World IVF Day Celebration, Shukan Hospital IVF Centre organized a heartwarming Parents Meet that brought together over 100 proud IVF parents with their children under one roof. The event was a celebration of life, resilience, and medical excellence, reflecting the emotional journeys and successes of families who achieved parenthood through assisted reproductive techniques at Shukan Hospital.

The event was graced by Dr. Prakash Patel, Director of Shukan Hospital, renowned IVF and Infertility Specialist with a Diploma in Laparoscopy (France) and Sonography (Croatia). He was joined by Associate Dr. Ajay Prajapati, along with Gynecologists Dr. Hardik Prajapati, Dr. Brinda Patel, and Dr. Grishma Brahmbhatt, who all play vital roles in patient care at the hospital.

So far, over 10,000 IUI and IVF cycles have been successfully completed by Dr. Prakash Patel and his expert team, making Shukan Hospital one of the most trusted names in fertility care in Gujarat.

“This event was not just about celebrating parenthood, but about celebrating trust, perseverance, and science,” said Dr. Prakash Patel, Director of Shukan Hospital. “Every couple who walks through our doors comes with hope. Seeing more than 100 families gathered today, with children playing and laughter echoing through the venue, is the most gratifying reward for our work. At Shukan, we offer personalized and ethical IVF care, rooted in empathy and backed by global training and technology.”

The Parents Meet was designed to foster interaction, bonding, and storytelling among IVF families. It featured light educational sessions, joyful games for kids, and sharing of personal journeys to parenthood. The motive was to celebrate the milestones of IVF babies, strengthen the IVF community, and offer gratitude to the families who placed their trust in Shukan Hospital.

The Indian IVF market is witnessing exponential growth. In 2024, it reached an estimated $864.6 million and is projected to hit $3,458.3 million by 2033, growing at a CAGR of 15.4%. IVF success rates in India vary between 30–40%, though for younger women (under 35), rates often reach 75–90%.

According to a report by Ernst & Young, the fertility industry in India has grown 20% over the past five years, with increasing awareness, technological advancements, and social acceptance driving demand.

Despite over 2.5 million IVF cycles performed globally each year, India contributes only 2–2.5 lakh cycles annually, indicating immense growth potential. Encouragingly, year-to-date IVF success rates in India have now touched 60%, making services like those at Shukan Hospital vital to meeting national demand.

The event concluded with a heartfelt message of thanks from the Shukan team, reaffirming their continued commitment to ethical, empathetic, and successful fertility care.
