What began as a casual game soon kindled a fervor that propelled her into the realm of professional athletes when she secured a coveted spot at the Sports Authority of India (SAI) Kerala at just 14 years old, laying the foundation for a remarkable transformation into a proficient taekwondo athlete.
Reshma’s journey of dedication and grit is epitomized by her stellar accomplishments, encompassing participation in the esteemed Senior World Championship and triumphs at the prestigious Korean Open International Championship, securing a gold, and the Indian Open International Championship, clinching a bronze. She proudly wears the mantle of a 7-time senior national medalist, a junior national gold medalist, and a recipient of 4 school national medals. Her illustrious journey has seen her shine at the 34th National Games, where she triumphed with a gold medal, and she stands tall as a three-time awardee of the All India Inter-University medals.
