New Delhi [India], July 28: At just 13, Ranveer Bakshi, a Grade 8 student at Ridhhima’s Academy, has achieved a milestone that most writers spend decades chasing — he is now a national award-winning author. Ranveer has been awarded the Rabindranath Tagore Award for Outstanding Contribution as a Visionary Architect of Modern Poetry, for his debut solo book, The Tapestry of Thoughts.

Yes, a full book. His own. His words. His voice. His vision. And it has already made literary history.

Ranveer’s work stood out among hundreds of entries across the country — not only for its lyrical beauty but for the emotional clarity and creative courage behind it. “When I write, I feel like I’m flying,” he says. “It’s like I’m playing with words and making them dance — and somehow, they help me feel calm, strong, and free.”

His book carries a powerful message — never give up. And that’s not just a line. It’s a reflection of Ranveer’s worldview, expressed through poems that are deeply motivating, sincere, and far wiser than his age would suggest. “Next, I want to explore poems about sports,” he adds. “There’s energy and motion in games that I want to capture with my words.”

While Ranveer’s brilliance is entirely his own, he is quick to acknowledge the catalyst that shaped it. “Ridhhima Ma’am inspired me to write this book. At Ridhhima’s Academy, she helped me grow as a writer — from articles to poems to stories. She didn’t just teach me how to write; she made me believe I had something to say.”

To publish your own poetry book in middle school is rare. To win a national award for it? That’s legendary.

Ranveer Bakshi is not just a promising writer — he is the face of a new literary generation. And this is just the beginning.
