New Delhi (India), February 6: For Dr. Jasmin Prajapti pursuing his MBBS and becoming a doctor was a distant dream of his deceased father, one that he was motivated to realize. The commitment to pursue his and his father’s aspiration was brought to life by the Yuva Unstoppable scholarship program. Recommended for support by his high school authorities, Yuva Unstoppable reached out to his family and there was no stopping this dreamer who is currently rigorously preparing for his Post Graduate examination. Dr. Prajapti is one of the early recipients of the Yuva Unstoppable scholarship program. This journey of becoming a doctor was never easy for Jasmin. During the most important years of his studies, his father was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease, for 2 years the family provided him with whatever treatment they could but he lost both his kidneys and was on Dialysis for two years. In spite of all the trauma and challenges the family was going through, Jasmin never lost his will and conviction of becoming a doctor Studied day and night and cleared his Medical Exams with flying colors. Jasmin has always been a very resilient child; he lost his father a day before his university exams and even after going through so much emotional pain and trauma he went back to university from his village and gave his exam. Through this inspirational journey of becoming a doctor, Jasmin has become an example for all the other students of Yuva Unstoppable. Jasmin Prajapati is the epitome of Determination and Conviction.
According to Amitabh Shah, the Yuva Unstoppable Scholarship Scheme is for needy, deserving and meritorious students, who only need an opportunity to excel. Their hard work and determination can be given wings to make them fly, said Amitabh Shah. The 4-year scheme provides for the education fees of the children given directly to the Institute based on their academic performance over the scholarship period. “Through our engagement with vulnerable communities, Yuva Unstoppable felt the need to address this gap by providing assistance towards helping students realize their true potential. A holistic scholarship program that not only addresses the student’s financial constraints but also concentrates on their overall exposure and development was designed” – Amitabh Shah – Founder, Yuva Unstoppable Yuva Unstoppable’s scholarship program aims to transform the lives of less privileged children and youth by maximizing impact in the education sector by focusing on the fundamentals – providing opportunities for the development of youth. The program aims to give wings to the dreams of youth by providing long-term scholarships, coaching and mentoring. Deserving and needy students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds are selected based on merit, performance and need to enable them to pursue a career of their choice.
Dr Prajapti’s journey has been no easy feat, hailing from a family with severe financial constraints, today he earns an annual income of INR 8,40,000/- contributing to his home, himself and his country. His family takes pride in his achievements and there is no stopping him. He wishes to work thru his PG and pursue a specialization in general surgery. With an extremely busy schedule, this COVID warrior still manages time as a Yuva Unstoppable volunteer and mentor encouraging younger students to dream big and realize their own worth. “The younger generation has the force to propel society into further growth and development. Although education is classified as a primary need and right, it remains a distant dream for many children in India who either don’t have access or the means to fulfill their educational aspirations.
