Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], July 31: Roohi Marjara, a talented entrepreneur, fashion designer, and content creator, has recently been awarded the prestigious title of “Mrs. Style Diva 2023 at Mrs India Inc 2023.” She also secured a remarkable achievement by being listed among the Top 25 Finalists at the Mrs. India Inc 2023, and further excelled as a Top 7 Finalist, clinching the 4th Runner Up position.
Born on 12th October, 1988, in Punjab, Roohi Marjara has always had a passion for fashion and creativity. Her educational journey took her to the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) in Mumbai, where she successfully completed her Bachelors’s degree in Design. Her time at NIFT, Mumbai, proved to be an influential period in shaping her career.
“I have always believed that fashion is a form of art that allows us to express ourselves creatively,” Roohi shared. “My education at NIFT opened new doors of possibilities and gave me the foundation to pursue my dreams in the world of fashion.”
Roohi’s journey into the world of fashion and entrepreneurship began after completing her studies. Armed with a master’s degree in Design, she ventured into the competitive fashion industry, setting up her own successful clothing label called “The Algorithm Of Fashion.” The brand garnered attention for its unique designs and exquisite craftsmanship, catering to a diverse clientele.
In addition to her fashion label, Roohi Marjara founded “The Yellow Tree Exhibition,” an events company based in Ludhiana. Through this platform, she provided an avenue for emerging designers and artisans to showcase their talents to a wider audience, fostering the growth of the fashion industry in the region.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Roohi Marjara is a devoted wife to Abhi Marjara, a businessman, and a loving mother to her two-year-old daughter, Elayah Marjara.
“My family has been my pillar of support throughout this incredible journey,” Roohi said. “Their love and encouragement have fueled my determination to pursue my passion and achieve my dreams.”
Roohi’s parents, Mr. K.S. Verma and Mrs. Suman Verma, have been a source of inspiration for her. Mr. Verma, a retired Human Resource Manager at Malwa Industries, Machhiwara, Punjab, and Mrs. Verma, a dedicated homemaker, instilled strong values of hard work and perseverance in Roohi from a young age.
As she continues to make strides in the fashion industry, Roohi Marjara hopes to empower other aspiring designers and entrepreneurs to follow their passion and make their mark in the creative world.
