New Delhi [India], November 15: The KOTRA India–Korea Business Cooperation Center partnered with Fairtrade India to promote sustainable and ethical trade practices at the Korea Street Fair 2025, held from November 14–16, 2025, at Worldmark Aerocity, New Delhi. Through this special participation, KOTRA aimed to raise awareness about Fairtrade-certified Indian products, emphasizing India’s expanding role in global ethical trade networks.

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Zone, KOTRA set up a dedicated booth in support of Fairtrade India—a leading advocate for fair, ethical, and sustainable trade in India. The Fairtrade India booth showcased a thoughtfully curated selection of high-quality, Fairtrade-certified Indian products, including Life by Follis organic teas, Pascati artisanal chocolates, and Tru Bio organic spices by PDS. The initiative aimed to raise awareness about socially responsible consumption and highlight Indian producers who meet rigorous fairness, environmental, and social standards, while introducing and promoting these products to visitors at the fair.

Korea Street Fair 2025 serves as a flagship cultural and business event celebrating the dynamic friendship between India and Korea. Organized annually, the fair features a vibrant mix of K-food, K-beauty, K-lifestyle, and K-pop experiences, attracting thousands of visitors, businesses, and cultural enthusiasts from both nations.

Throughout the event, the Fairtrade booth drew significant attention from visitors who expressed appreciation for the quality, sustainability, and positive social impact of the showcased products. The collaboration illustrated an encouraging shift in consumer attitudes toward more accountable and sustainable purchasing, supporting better livelihoods and environmental stewardship for producer communities.

The positive reception of the Fairtrade India booth at the Korea Street Fair 2025 highlights a growing movement toward conscious consumption and fair trade practices across India and Korea, setting an example for collaborative efforts that combine cultural exchange with social impact.
