    Kochi Hosts Successful ‘Eat Right Walkathon’ to Promote Healthy Eating

    Kochi (Kerala) [India], February 26: In alignment with the Eat Right India initiative, the Eat Right Walkathon was successfully organized in Kochi, bringing together nearly 1,000 participants to advocate for healthier food choices and lifestyle habits. The event was made possible with the support of FSSAI Southern Region, the management, staff, and students of Sacred Heart College, Kochi, and Herbalife, a leading global nutrition company.

    The Walkathon aimed to raise public awareness about the importance of healthy eating and good food practices in daily life. It commenced with an energetic Zumba session by The Floor by Arunima, setting the tone for an active morning. Participants also enjoyed a cultural dance performance by Dheera Dance Company, adding a vibrant touch to the event. The symbolic walk within the campus of Sacred Heart College, Thevara, Kochi, was infused with enthusiasm, as walkers carried messages emphasizing the significance of balanced nutrition.

    The event was graced by the presence of several esteemed dignitaries, including Mr. Fairooz Jazaak, Technical Officer, FSSAI; Dr. Urmila, Technical Officer, FSSAI; Dr. Aparna, Central Food Safety Officer, FSSAI; Ms. Swathi, Central Food Safety Officer, FSSAI; and Mr. Vineeth, Assistant, FSSAI. Their participation reinforced the significance of the Eat Right India initiative and highlighted the collective effort toward promoting healthier and safer food choices.

    Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Ajay Khanna, Managing Director, Herbalife India, said:
