New Delhi [India], August 27: InBidz, the homegrown art platform with a global reach, today announced the launch of the InBidz Global Art Contest 2026, marking its second season after a successful debut that drew 1,000+ entries from 15+ countries. Season 2 carries forward the spirit of creativity and sustainability — offering free global entries and unlocking additional submissions through tree planting.

In its debut edition, InBidz hosted an offline award ceremony at Utsav Gallery, GMR Aerocity, Delhi, and concluded with an online auction of 50 shortlisted artworks. Media coverage spanned Dainik Bhaskar, India.com, and 50+ outlets, positioning InBidz as a unique blend of art, community, and sustainability.

The contest also generated over 400 heartfelt testimonials from artists worldwide — from 8-year-olds to professionals — reflecting its emotional and cultural impact.

“We always planted trees out of love, even when no contest was running. Now we’ve woven that spirit into InBidz itself. Every artwork plants a dream, and every tree planted ensures that dream takes root on Earth,” said Wagish Sharma, Founder of InBidz.

“Season 1 showed us that artists don’t just create art, they create movements. Season 2 will be about expanding that movement globally — where every brushstroke is matched by a sapling of hope,” added Ritesh Banerjee, Co-Founder of InBidz.

    For 2026, InBidz introduces a tree-planting initiative:

    • First entry is free for all artists worldwide.

    • Additional entries can be unlocked by planting a tree and sharing proof.

This innovation transforms creativity into climate action, ensuring that art fuels a greener planet. With every artwork linked to a sapling, CSR partners can directly support climate action while nurturing global creativity.

By 2030, InBidz envisions empowering 1 million artists and planting 1 million trees, building a living forest of art and impact.

The judging panel for the 2026 edition includes renowned artists and cultural leaders Bijay Biswaal, Kkrishan Kundara, Shashank Shukla, and Hariprasad Sukumaran.
