Jaipur (Rajasthan) [India], January 9: A splendid evening unfolded in celebration of opulence and allure as IFDC (International Fashion Design Council) In collaboration with with Global India Couture Week (GICW) to announce the dates for the upcoming Spring-Summer 2024 edition of the fashion week, set to take place in Jaipur.
The successful conclusion of the illustrious Global India Couture Week Season 4, in association with IFDC and Black Page Fashion, was recently marked by a dazzling presentation by renowned designer Neeta Lulla. The captivating actor Palak Tiwari graced the runway for this spectacular event.
The panelists, including Directors GICW Mr. Satyajit Mohanty, Sidharrth Behera, Abhishek Choudhary and Designer Gazal Mishra, conducted model auditions at the opulent Diggi Palace, a luxury heritage hotel in Jaipur. Aspirants from across Rajasthan and parts of Delhi-NCR enthusiastically participated in the auditions.
During the event, Mr. Satyajit Mohanty emphasized, “The Jaipur event marks the initial phase of raising awareness for the promotion of sustainable fashion. This initiative will be further amplified on a broader scale in the upcoming months. India has consistently championed sustainable fashion, and I am confident that with this endeavor, it will ascend to unprecedented heights,” stated Sidharrth Behera.
The extravagant affair is scheduled to unfold on the 11th and 12th of February 2024 at the Diggi Palace and Teela – The Glamping Resort in Jaipur. The event promises to showcase an enthralling lineup featuring both established fashion houses and emerging designers, presenting the pinnacle of couture fashion.
GICW Season 4 was a grandiose extravaganza that epitomized glitz and glamour, thanks to the collective efforts of dedicated partners and the creative brilliance of designers and models. This success has paved the way for yet another edition of shows to be held in the vibrant city of Jaipur.
