Indore (Madhya Pradesh) [India], July 12: The 16th IEEE International Conference on Computing, Communication and Networking Technologies (ICCCNT 2025) concluded this week at IIT Indore, firmly establishing itself as Asia’s largest STEM conference and a global hub for science and technology dialogue.

With a record-breaking 10,000+ research submissions from 99 countries, and nearly 900 from international contributors, ICCCNT 2025 represents a major leap in global academic engagement. The hybrid-format conference, held from July 6–11, was jointly organized by IIT Indore, Oriental University, and Kongu Engineering College.

“This event is more than a conference—it’s a blueprint for collaborative innovation,” said Prof. Prakash Duraisamy, Conference Co-Chair. “The sheer scale and diversity of participation this year reflect the urgency and excitement surrounding the future of intelligent systems.”

Across six days, ICCCNT featured keynote addresses, technical paper sessions, high-impact panel discussions, and the introduction of a first-ever industry exhibition. These sessions addressed vital areas such as AI, cybersecurity, smart infrastructure, robotics, 6G, and sustainability.

“This is a celebration of collaboration,” said Prof. Surya Prakash, Conference Chair. “We are proud to host researchers, policymakers, and innovators from around the world who are helping shape tomorrow’s technologies.”

ICCCNT 2025 also garnered technical co-sponsorship from leading IEEE bodies, including the Electronics Packaging Society (EPS) and the Industry Applications Society (IAS). Accepted papers from the conference will be published in the IEEE Xplore® Digital Library.

A notable debut this year was the ICCCNT Industry Exhibition, led by Exhibition Chair Ms. Prachi Garg. The showcase featured public and private sector tech leaders presenting live demos and product innovations, enhancing academia-industry synergy.

“These exhibitions are not just about exposure—they’re about real connections,” said Ms. Garg. “We saw strong traction between R&D teams, educators, and emerging startups.”

Further enriching the experience were a series of practical workshops steered by Ms. Tripty Singh, aimed at building technical skills in robotics and intelligent systems. Online participation, coordinated by Oriental University and Kongu Engineering College, received wide international engagement.

“The choice of Indore symbolizes the decentralization of research leadership in India,” said Ms. Garima Ghai of Oriental University. “Innovation is now thriving beyond the metros.”

Panel discussions focused on real-world challenges—climate resilience, digital governance, and ethical AI—bringing together government, academia, and industry leaders for meaningful discourse.

As the event closed, organizers emphasized the lasting impact of this year’s edition—not only in knowledge sharing but in the new alliances forged. ICCCNT 2025 leaves behind a roadmap for interdisciplinary growth and a collaborative model for future STEM engagements.
