Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], September 11: At Hyrox Mumbai, one thing was clear: MuscleBlaze-fueled athletes didn’t just show up; they owned the event with 12 athletes at the podium. The energy was electric, the competition fierce, and the performances unforgettable.

Sikander Breaks the Barrier: Sub-60 and #1 Hyrox in India

The highlight of the event? Sikander, who made history as the first Indian to ever complete a HYROX race in 59:54 minutes at Hyrox Men’s Opens (Age 25-29). This remarkable feat not only earned him the win but also broke his previous best of 1 hour 9 minutes, setting a new national record.

“Crossing that line wasn’t just about time – it was about proving what Indian athletes can really do,” Sikander said, moments after his record-breaking finish.

Following is the powerhouse team of MuscleBlaze-powered runners who didn’t just participate. They dominated.

    – David Kelly set a new record in the Pro Doubles Men category, becoming India’s fastest finisher with unmatched speed and coordination.

    – Manjula won the Women’s 60–64 division, proving age is no barrier to strength.

    – Sameer Mhatre topped the Pro Men’s 50–54 group with focus and experience.

    – Tom and Vidushi Bharat took 1st in the Under-40 Mixed Relay, showcasing global teamwork and grit.

Also making impressive podium finishes were Mishika Sharma and Mrunali Patil, both securing 2nd place in the 16–24 age group—Mishika in Pro Women and Mrunali in Women’s. Shambhav Dabri took 2nd in the Pro Doubles Men (25–29) category, while Raina Chaudhari and Bharat Ruhil claimed 3rd in Doubles Mixed (35–39). In the Doubles Men (30–34) division, Vikram K earned a strong 2nd-place finish.
