Models and Personalities walking the ramp on DAY 1 at GICW Season 4
Gurugram (Haryana) [India], September 30: Day 1 of Global India Couture Week (GICW Season 4) unveiled a stunning array of designs by renowned designers, each showcasing their unique creative vision. Apart from a showcase by IIFT, Nazim Ali Khan, in a grand presentation, paid homage to the majestic era of the Mughal empire with his regal collection. His designs transported the audience to an era of opulence and splendor. Brian Kerkoven captivated the runway with a collection titled “Transparency,” characterized by its effervescent and floral-themed creations. The designs exuded a sense of lightness and grace.
Atul Singh brought forth “DesiEdge,” a collection that beautifully blended the timeless charm of traditional attire with a bold contemporary twist. The highlight of the show was the stunning singer Sapna Choudhary, who graced the runway as the showstopper.Archana Kochhar’s collection, ‘Legacy,’ was a heartfelt tribute to the enduring elegance of women’s fashion. The garments celebrated the timeless grace that women have brought to the world of couture.
Priya & Priyanka showcased a collection inspired by the precise shapes of geometry, incorporating elements like squares, circles, rectangles, lines, and triangles. The music sensation, Chitralekha Sen, dazzled as she walked the ramp for the label.
Charu Parashar, with her AW 2023/24 collection, titled “Alma Española,” drew inspiration from the rich and vibrant heritage of Spanish culture. Actress Sophiya Singh graced the stage as the showstopper, adding a touch of glamour to the showcase. Lalit Dalmia wove a tale of luxury and regal elegance with “Heritage Queens.” His designs embodied timeless charm and beauty. The showstopper for Lalit Dalmia was the enchanting Giorgia Andriani, who added a touch of royalty to the runway.
The inaugural day of GICW Season 4 was a splendid affair, where each designer brought their unique perspective and creativity to the forefront, making it a night to remember for fashion enthusiasts and connoisseurs alike.
