New Delhi [India], July 24: Originally from Bankura, West Bengal, and currently based in Bangalore, Karnataka — Sohini Chowdhury is proving that a woman can excel both in the corporate world and on the grand stage of glamour. A dedicated Technical Support Engineer at SAP Labs, Sohini recently made her mark as a Finalist in Mrs. World International 2025, earning admiration from all walks of life.
Sohini believes that behind every strong woman is a stronger support system. She credits her parents, who always believed in her, her elder sister — the biggest cheerleader of her life — and her husband, who has stood by her through every high and low. She also extends heartfelt thanks to her team and manager at work for encouraging her throughout this transformative journey.
Her ambitions, however, go far beyond the ramp. For the past four years, Sohini has been sponsoring the education of a young girl through SOS Village. She aspires to expand her efforts by empowering orphaned children and young girls with access to education, healthcare, and emotional support, enabling them to live independent, dignified lives.
