New Delhi [India], September 2: BlueRose Publishers proudly announces the release of Pins, Pains and Promises, the debut novel by Dr. Manisha T. Kundnani, a renowned gynecologist and fertility specialist with over 15 years of experience helping couples navigate the complex journey of infertility.

Currently based in Mumbai, where she runs two IVF centers, Dr. Kundnani’s path to medicine began in the small town of Alwar, Rajasthan, where she was born and raised. She earned her MBBS from Jaipur before completing her MD in Gynecology at the prestigious PGIMER, Chandigarh, and later pursued a super-specialization in infertility at Lilavati Hospital, Mumbai. For over a decade and a half, she has been a source of medical expertise and emotional support for countless patients facing the challenges of infertility.

Now, with Pins, Pains and Promises, she steps into a new role of a storyteller. “Publishing my first book feels surreal — like breathing life into something that lived in my heart for so long,” Dr. Kundnani says. “It’s a mix of vulnerability, pride, and deep gratitude.”

Interestingly, becoming an author was never part of a deliberate plan. The book was born from emotion rather than ambition. As a doctor, Dr. Kundnani has witnessed firsthand silent battles that her patients fight — struggles that medical charts and scientific explanations could never fully capture. “My patients were my biggest inspiration,” she says. “I wanted to create something beyond the scientific — a story they could see themselves in, connect with emotionally, and feel understood through.”

Pins, Pains and Promises is a deeply moving exploration of infertility, love, and the quiet spaces in relationships that often go unspoken. It follows Tanvi and Tarun — a couple enduring the heartbreak of failed IVF cycles, the emotional toll on their marriage, and the unexpected reappearance of a past relationship. Through their journey, the novel examines the intimate intersections of hope, grief, resilience, and the promises people cling to when everything else feels uncertain.

More than just a love story, the novel is a tribute to the human capacity for empathy and healing. It offers a rare glimpse into the emotional landscapes of couples facing infertility — the quiet tears, the silent strength, and the deeply personal decisions they must make. For Dr. Kundnani, it’s a chance to extend her care beyond the walls of her clinic, to give comfort and understanding through the power of fiction.

“Infertility is not just a medical condition — it’s an emotional earthquake,” Dr. Kundnani explains. “I wanted to capture that reality in a way that could resonate even with those who haven’t experienced it, because everyone knows the feeling of wanting something deeply and fearing it may never happen.”

Outside her medical and writing work, Dr. Kundnani finds joy in painting and playing violin — creative outlets that help her balance the intensity of her professional life. While she hasn’t decided if she will write another book, she remains open to the possibility. “Writing this book was a deeply personal journey,” she says. “If another story moves me enough to pause everything else, I may find myself writing again.”

With Pins, Pains and Promises, Dr. Manisha T. Kundnani bridges the worlds of medicine and storytelling, offering a poignant narrative that will resonate with readers far beyond the realm of infertility. It’s a reminder that even in life’s most uncertain spaces, love and healing can still grow.
