    New Delhi [India], March 22: Abhinab Das, a Bhubaneswar-based content creator, has carved a niche in the digital space with his financial education platform, Chalo Seekho. With nearly eight years of experience, his journey from an engineering graduate to one of India’s top finance influencers is nothing short of inspiring.

    From Middle-Class Roots to Digital Stardom

    Abhinab’s story is one of perseverance and transformation. Coming from a middle-class family, he struggled financially while searching for stable employment after completing his B.Tech in 2016. His passion for photography was sparked at his brother’s wedding, leading his father to gift him a DSLR camera. Determined to repay the investment, he began covering small events, gradually refining his content creation skills. Over time, his interest in content creation deepened, but he was still uncertain about making it a full-time career.

    YouTube: A Game-Changer

    In 2017, while waiting for a job, Abhinab discovered YouTube’s potential. He launched his first channel, AD’s Tutorials, covering Vedic Mathematics and photography. However, initial struggles in gaining traction led him to shift towards tech content, helping him hone his presentation and research skills. Managing a full-time job alongside content creation, he juggled between filming videos during lunch breaks and editing late into the night. His persistence paid off, and he slowly started seeing improvements in his content quality, engagement, and subscriber count. However, the income was still not enough to sustain him fully.

    Turning Point: Embracing Financial Content

    Despite uploading over 250 tech videos by 2020, monetization remained elusive. To sustain himself, Abhinab created content for other YouTube channels, earning ₹10,000 per month. A breakthrough came when one of his finance-related videos went viral, marking his entry into the financial education domain. This success led to the rebranding of his channel as Chalo Seekho, focusing on financial literacy topics such as banking, loans, credit cards, and money-making tips. Unlike his previous content, financial education resonated deeply with viewers, as people were eager to learn how to manage and grow their wealth. His approach to simplifying complex financial concepts made Chalo Seekho a go-to platform for many aspiring investors and entrepreneurs.

    Rapid Growth and Achievements

    By 2021, Abhinab quit his job to become a full-time content creator. The decision was risky, but his confidence in content creation and growing audience encouraged him to take the leap. Today, Chalo Seekho boasts nearly 1 lakh YouTube subscribers and 365,000 Instagram followers. Additionally, his tech-focused Instagram page, Techno Vichar, gained 170,000 followers in just two months, blending humor with technology insights. His ability to simplify complex financial concepts has made him one of India’s leading digital educators.

    He attributes his success to consistency, research, and the ability to adapt to changing digital trends. His content strategy involves staying updated on financial trends, breaking down intricate financial subjects into relatable, engaging videos, and responding to his audience’s queries. His personal experience with financial struggles makes his content authentic and relatable, further strengthening his connection with his viewers.

    Personal Life and Business Expansion

    In 2024, Abhinab married Swati Choudhury, a digital marketing expert who now plays a key role in content creation and research. Together, they launched Uplinemind Digital Services Pvt. Ltd., a digital marketing and influencer marketing agency catering to brands and creators. Swati’s expertise in digital marketing has helped streamline their content production process and enhance their business model. The couple now works as a dynamic team, leveraging each other’s strengths to expand their brand further.

    Beyond content creation, Abhinab is now exploring collaborations with financial institutions and fintech startups to bring more credibility and valuable insights to his audience. He is also keen on expanding his platform beyond digital content by offering online courses, workshops, and mentorship programs for aspiring content creators and finance enthusiasts.

    Vision for the Future

    Abhinab’s mission is clear—to educate and empower people about financial literacy in a simple, engaging manner. His future goals include expanding Chalo Seekho into a larger financial education platform, growing Uplinemind Digital Services into a top-tier marketing agency, and mentoring aspiring digital creators and influencers. He envisions creating an ecosystem where financial education is accessible to everyone, breaking the notion that finance is only for experts.

    With a journey that exemplifies consistency, adaptability, and passion, Abhinab Das is a testament to how digital platforms can turn struggles into success.
