Apart from being a successful businessman, he has led various social, trade and professional associations.
As a passionate actor, writer, producer and singer in theater, audio-video albums and feature films, he received several awards including the Udyog Ratna and Munshi Memorial Award.
An active member of various professional bodies, he joined Rotary International in 1979, becoming its President in 1986-87; written stories and screenplays of various feature films; written and sung songs and poems; produced music albums and feature films.
