CareerLane: A Game-Changer for Student Placements by Grey Goose

New Delhi [India], July 3: At an age when most students are still updating their LinkedIn profiles and figuring out what to do next, Kavipranithan K R and Kesavan S, both just 20 years old, are busy signing MOUs with some of India’s most respected brands.

Their venture, Grey Goose Consultants Private Limited, is quietly making waves in the world of business consulting and talent acceleration. With a razor-sharp focus on solving one of India’s biggest problems—employability—the company has already partnered with iconic players like Ramraj Cotton and Sulochana Group to shape the future of workforce readiness.

But the real game-changer is their newly launched vertical: CareerLane—a guided career transformation program that blends placement training, industry exposure, and real-world skill development. It’s not another “job guarantee” course. It’s a platform designed by consultants, not career counselors.

“We’re not building a course,” says Kavipranithan, co-founder of Grey Goose. “We’re building an ecosystem that understands what top companies need and prepares students to meet that demand—with precision.”

Unlike traditional training institutes that recycle old content and rely on theoretical PDFs, CareerLane runs like a consulting sprint. Each batch operates like a cohort with KPIs, weekly assignments, live case studies, and even mock interviews conducted by working professionals. No fluff. No fillers.

What started as a small campus project is now scaling across Tamil Nadu through a lean franchise model. In just a few weeks, they’ve already onboarded four franchise partners and are eyeing pan-India presence by year-end.

“We didn’t want to be another edtech startup running Google ads,” says Kesavan, the quieter half of the duo. “We wanted to build a consulting brand that happens to solve education problems.”

With rising unemployment, outdated college curricula, and millions of students graduating without job-ready skills, Grey Goose is entering the market at the perfect time. Their approach is surgical: identify skill gaps, reverse-engineer hiring funnels, and plug students directly into them.

This isn’t their first innings. Until early this year, Grey Goose ran a successful Corporate Consulting vertical helping large manufacturing companies Improve crores in Revenue. While most 20-year-olds were preparing for semester exams, these two were negotiating with textile giants. That experience gave them one thing most founders lack—trust.

It’s that trust that allowed them to ink deals with legacy brands like Ramraj Cotton.

And they’ve kept operations lean and gritty. No fancy office. No VC money. Just results.

Their next bet? Taking CareerLane global. Talks are already underway with training partners in the UAE and Singapore to expand the program for NRI and international Indian students who want a reliable India-based placement engine.

Grey Goose isn’t trying to be flashy. They’re trying to be useful. And if the early traction is anything to go by, they’re already becoming indispensable.
