New Delhi (India), February 16: Author and writer-activist Kapil Raj launched his new book Kuroopa which is the first book in the upcoming Change Stories Series published by Anecdote Publishing House. Kapil’s previous book ENDURER A Rape Story has been praised by critics and readers.
Kuroopa is about Meera, who has been struggling with her identity since childhood because of the lack of pleasing physical attributes. With a self-discovering journey, the book Kuroopa emphasizes the social construct around beauty and questions the hypocritical world that preaches ‘looks don’t matter’ while constantly objectifying and running towards beautification.
Ms. Anila Singh, Spokesperson of Bhartiya Janta Party, author of the Books Sovereign She and Amrit Kal along with Rudra Vikram Singh, Advocate in Supreme Court and General Secretary – Of all India Panchayat Parishad and Sagar Azad, Founder and Owner of Anecdote Publishing House and Champ Readers Pvt. Ltd. launched the book at Oxford Bookstore.
Ms. Anila Singh praised the effort by author Kapil Raj for writing and Anecdote Publishing House for publishing books on social subjects. Mr. Rudra Vikram Singh stated no one can stop India from becoming ‘world-guru’ if we read thoughtful books.
