Originally from Allahabad (Prayagraj), Alisha now resides in New Jersey, USA, with her loving husband, Sujoy Bhattacharjee, and their 9-year-old daughter, Gresha. A dynamic woman with a diverse range of talents, Alisha recently made a remarkable achievement that fills her heart with immense pride and gratitude.
On December 1st, 2024, Alisha participated in the prestigious Mrs. Universe USA 2025 pageant, held in New York at the Royal Albert Palace and organized by My Dream TV. Competing against more than 50 talented contestants, Alisha faced multiple rounds of intense competition. From the grueling Question & Answer session to the various other challenges, she stood out with her poise, confidence, and knowledge, ultimately securing her place in the top 5. In a moment of great triumph, Alisha was honored with two titles:

Her parents, Sri Ashish and Smt. Meeta Dhar, both retired from distinguished positions at Northern Railways, are overjoyed with their daughter’s success. Alisha’s in-laws, Sri Sudeep (retired Registrar from Teerthankar Mahaveer University) and Smt. Meenakshi Bhattacharya (a retired teacher from Maharshi Vidya Mandir), also share in the pride of seeing this Allahabad girl shine on a global platform.
Alisha, a successful IT professional alongside her husband, has called New Jersey home for the past decade. With a background in modeling, singing, and a deep passion for adventure, she has embraced every opportunity that comes her way. Her dedication to Nichiren’s philosophy, along with her daily chants, has been a source of strength in her journey. Alisha’s message to all women is simple yet powerful: “Dream high, for the sky is the limit. When your determination is strong, nothing is impossible.
