November 9: Today’s modern youth are fond of listening to different kinds of rhythms like rap or hip-hop, etc. Rap is the style in which the artist uses his own words while hip-hop refers more to the beats which are often accompanied by a rap from a rapper, both are partners in good music reveal. Akay Dhariwal is one such name. He is a new-age hip-hop rapper and producer. Apart from singing rap songs, Akay writes his lyrics too!!. This multi-faceted lyricist, singer, and producer has worked hard to achieve this fame. Akay revealed that he is hugely inspired by Emiway Bantai. His inspiration is best known for his song “Asli Hip-Hop” in the film “Gully Boy”. Akay released his first song “Aadat” in 2019. His first song got lots of love from people all over the country which further inspired him to come up with more good work. He continued to write rap and created the best of his song every time. In the same year 2019, he came up with one motivational song ” Ego Kahan Hai”. His hard work came true and got fame and thousands of fan followers on Instagram, Facebook, and some other social media platforms.
He released his first album, titled- “KAAM BHAARI” in the year 2021. He is thriving on the popularity he has gained by uploading his songs on YouTube and social media sites. Akay has got some offers from Bollywood as well. We may very soon see him giving rap in any of the upcoming Bollywood films. Earlier also he received some offers from Bollywood but at that time he was working on his album and gave all his time to his rap songs. He did primarily focus on YouTube in the early days of his career and later got support from audio platforms such as Apple Music, Spotify, Wynk Music, Jio Savan, etc. which makes listening to music a very engaging and beautiful experience.
Akay’s first song of 2022 “Sorry” is a hit after release. He is having many projects in the pipeline yet. The information on these songs has been updated on his Instagram status this year. His fans are eagerly waiting for him to release these songs on YouTube. Akay is the founder of Preet Music Records.
