Ahmedabad (Gujarat) [India], October 13: Under the leadership of Samast Gujarat Prajapati Yuvak Mandal President Shri Yatinbhai Kantibhai Prajapati (Madhav Group) and with the efforts of all the members of his committee, a grand Garba festival was organized. Members from various areas from Bhavnagar, Vadodara to Ahmedabad participated enthusiastically in this cultural program organized for the youth of the entire Prajapati community.
As chief guests, Hon. Shri Jagdishbhai Vishwakarma, State President of the Bharatiya Janata Party; Former Minister of State for Home Shri Pradipsinh Jadeja; MLA of Vatva Constituency Shri Babusingh Jadav; MLA of Bapunagar Shri Dineshbhai Kushwaha; and MLA of Maninagar Dr. Hasmukhbhai Patel graced the occasion and added glory to the event. Corporators from Vastral and Odhav areas were also present on this occasion.
As a special feature of the program, a unique demo conveying the message of “Har Ghar Swadeshi – Ghar Ghar Swadeshi” was presented, which was dedicated to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan (Self-Reliant India Mission). Along with that, for the cause of girls’ education and women empowerment, an Aarti was performed with 5108 lamps (diyas), offering blessings and good wishes.
In the Garba celebration, more than 800 young men and women from the Prajapati community enthusiastically participated wearing traditional attire. Around 3000 people in total attended the entire event. In the end, prizes were distributed to the participants, and the guests present were honored with shawls, garlands, and mementos.
For the successful organization of this event, President Shri Yatinbhai and all members of the Mandal and the community received high appreciation.
