    ISHRAE Ahmedabad Chapter Hosts Pharma Connect 2025

    Ahmedabad (Gujarat) [India], September 22:  The Ahmedabad Chapter of the Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE) successfully hosted Pharma Connect 2025, an exclusive industry forum built around the theme “Building Bridges Across the Value Chain.”

    The event brought together pharmaceutical and healthcare end-users, cleanroom HVAC professionals, consultants, and project leaders to explore next-generation solutions for sustainable and compliant manufacturing environments.

    Dr. H.G. Koshia, Former Commissioner, Food & Drug Control Administration, Gujarat, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. In his address, he underlined the importance of collaboration across the pharmaceutical ecosystem, while highlighting Gujarat’s leadership in pharma manufacturing. He further called for continuous dialogue and innovation to strengthen India’s global competitiveness.

    Sanchit Chaturvedi, Chairman, Indian Drug Manufacturers’ Association (IDMA) – Gujarat, emphasised the value of knowledge-sharing, noting that the convergence of cleanroom technology, regulatory preparedness, and sustainable practices will be crucial to shaping the future of the industry.

    The conference featured expert-led technical sessions covering vital topics such as:

    • Inspection-readiness in pharma facilities
    • Air changes and filtration in cleanrooms
    • AI in the pharma industry and smart buildings
    • Latest trends in air filtration standards for life sciences
    • Sneh Shah, President, ISHRAE Ahmedabad Chapter, said:

    “For the Indian pharmaceutical industry to remain competitive, it is essential to embrace global standards and the latest technologies. Pharma Connect 2025 showcased cutting-edge HVAC and allied technologies tailored to the sector’s energy needs while enabling exchange of invaluable expertise.”

    Key contributions from Amit Sanghvi, Sanjay Adhvaryu, Jignesh Parikh and Samkit Shah further strengthened the dialogue between stakeholders and reinforced the collective vision for innovation in the pharmaceutical sector.

    Supported by IDMA and ASHRAE Western India Chapter, Pharma Connect 2025 reaffirmed ISHRAE’s commitment to advancing cleanroom standards and promoting partnerships across the pharmaceutical value chain.
