Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], February 08: The inaugural edition of Run InSync – scheduled for February 08, 2025 – an inclusive run that unites people with and without disabilities, successfully launched in Pune. Organized by Adventures Beyond Barriers Foundation (ABBF) and SVP India, and supported by Bajaj Finserv under its social impact initiatives, the event has garnered immense interest, with registrations overbooked well ahead of time. This bodes well for India’s largest ever inclusive running event which is also an official world record attempt with the World Book of Records.
In a country with over 63.28 million persons with disabilities, inclusive initiatives like Run InSync play a vital role in breaking societal barriers. The event promotes empathy and understanding through sports, highlighting the potential of inclusion to foster a more unified and compassionate society. Participants of all abilities will cover a route running through Pune University, showcasing the power of collective action to drive change.
