Ahmedabad (Gujaerat ) [India] September 12: Ankur Maternity Home & Clinic has achieved an extraordinary milestone by delivering 21 babies within a span of 24 hours, setting a new record that will be included in the prestigious World Records India. The remarkable event took place on August 26, coinciding with the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami.
The hospital, located at Haridarshan crossroads, Naroda, delivered 13 boys and 8 girls, with 20 babies born through caesarian section and one delivered naturally. The deliveries commenced at midnight on August 26 and continued smoothly until 6:00 pm, completing all surgeries within 18 hours. Despite the high-risk nature of some cases, all mothers and babies are in excellent health, with none requiring admission to the ICU.

Six of the deliveries were primary caesarian sections, while the remaining 14 involved mothers who had previously undergone c-sections.
