Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh) [India], June 20: Young yoga gurus from different states of India gathered in large numbers at Shri Ram Leela Kala Auditorium in Ayodhya Dham . More than three hundred male and female yoga teachers were honored for their excellent service on this occasion. Former Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Dinesh Sharma and Dr. Anil Mishra ji (senior member Shree Ram mandir trust) was the chief guest of the ceremony. 300 yoga teachers from across the country were honored.
Addressing yoga gurus from many states who were overjoyed to receive Maharishi Patanjali Yogaratna Samman, Swami Shivanand Saraswati Samman, Swami Vivekananda Lifetime Achievement Award, Shri Swami Dhirendra Brahmachari Yogashree Samman and Dr. BKS Iyengar Yoga Bhushan Samman, MP Dr. Dinesh Sharma said that India is the land of yoga. He said that Lord Shri Ram’s devotee Shri Hanuman ji, who went to conquer Lanka from this land of Ayodhya, had burnt Lanka on the strength of yoga knowledge. While welcoming the yoga teachers from different parts of India in the holy city of Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh, he said that today will be remembered in the field of yoga science.
Acharya Ram Mahesh Mishra, President and Founder of Bhagyodaya Foundation, who came from the national capital Delhi to the felicitation ceremony, talked about the possibility of a lot of employment opportunities in the field of yoga and said that the services of yoga teachers should be used as much as possible in the national interest and cultural interest. He urged the Government of India and various state governments to create lakhs of jobs by converting the posts of physical teachers i.e. PT teachers in various schools into yoga teachers.
