Reflecting on his early influences, Pujya Pankaj Ji Thanvi credits his mother, Shri Uma Devi Thanvi, and father, Shri Ballabh Das Ji Thanvi, for fostering his spiritual growth.He was inspired to take a move towards storytelling by his elder brother Acharya Rahul ji Thanvi.Under the guidance of his revered Gurudev, Shri Brajnarayan Ji Vyas (Ganesh Maharaj), he underwent the Yagyopavit Sanskar in January 2011, marking a pivotal moment in his spiritual journey.
Driven by an innate desire to spread the teachings of Bhagwat and inspired by the grace of Thakur Ji, Pujya Pankaj Ji Thanvi commenced his Bhagwat Katha narrations in 2016, captivating audiences across Kolkata, Shukratal, Aligarh, and Mumbai. His spiritual quest led him to the sacred land of Shri Dham Vrindavan, where he sought blessings from revered saints and sages, culminating in his initiation into the Shri Vaishnavi tradition by Bhagwat Bhaskar Shri Krishna Chandra Ji Shastri “Thakur Ji” Maharaj Ji in Dwarka Dham.
