Ahmedabad (Gujarat) [India], December 12: Om Khadi Design Studio, a pioneer in blending tradition and contemporary elegance, elevated Khadi’s legacy by inaugurating its flagship store at Sindhu Bhavan Road in Ahmedabad on Sunday.
The grand opening was graced by the presence of Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) Chairman Manoj Kumar and Jagdish Vishwakarma, Hon Minister of State for MSME, Khadi and Rural Industries, Govt of Gujarat, as the chief guest and the guest of honour respectively.
They were joined by eminent personalities from the media, corporate and social circles of Ahmedabad, who witnessed the exquisite collection of khadi apparels and accessories on display.
Om Khadi Design Studio, founded in 2021 by Pooja Kapoor, is on a mission to reimagine and redefine khadi as more than just a coarse handmade fabric. Inspired by Mahatma Gandhi’s vision of Swadeshi, the brand has transformed khadi into haute couture, fusing fabric, design, stitch, patterns, and styling.
Shri Jagadish Vishwakarma, Hon.
