He joined AIIMS in 1989 as an undergraduate and went on to complete his MD in Ophthalmology from RP Centre AIIMS in 1998, where he was awarded a Gold Medal for being the best Post Graduate for the year. He finished his Senior Residency in AIIMS in December 2001 and immediately started his eye centre, with advanced Cataract and Retina and other surgical facilities.
During his speech, Dr. Vinay talked about his vision for Synergy Eye Care. He thanked all the people responsible for building the new center with special thanks to the labourers and workers who put in their hard work and swear. As a token of gratitude, he provided a Gratitude Card, offering free eye care treatment to all these construction workers. This card was received on their behalf by architect Mr. Ranjan Gupta.
The new center is impressive, with over 12,000 sq ft of space spread over 4 floors. It has 8 Ophthalmic OPDs, three Ophtha OTs, one LASIK OT, Investigation Labs, and more. Dr. Vinay also mentioned plans to start a DNB course in Ophthalmology in the near future.
Another unique feature of the new centre is the top floor, which is dedicated to Synergy Medisuites, a new venture that offers co-working spaces for clinicians. They have fully equipped 5 OPD chambers for specialities other than ophthalmology. This floor also has a treatment room for minor OPD procedures.
