Ahmedabad (Gujarat) [India], February 27: Project IRAADA – Hope Over Dope  organised the IRAADA Walkathon, a youth-led awareness initiative dedicated to spreading strong social messages against substance abuse and promoting a healthy, drug-free lifestyle.

Founded by Ayaan Bhatt, Project IRAADA is currently led by Vihaan Purav Patel of AIS School for the year 2025–2026. Under his leadership, the initiative continues to empower young voices to take responsibility in addressing critical social concerns affecting their generation.

The walkathon was conducted in collaboration with Rotary Sarvam, with a primary focus on prevention through awareness. The initiative aims to educate students about the risks and long-term consequences of drug abuse while encouraging mental well-being and informed decision-making.

Approximately 300 AMC school students participated in the walkathon, symbolizing unity and collective action. By bringing students together in a public space, the event fosters dialogue, peer engagement, and active community involvement in promoting a substance-free society.

The event was in the esteemed presence of Hon’ble Mayor Smt. Pratibhaben Jain, AMC School Board Chairman Dr. Sujay Mehta, and BJP Youth Leader Paurash Patel, whose encouragement strengthens the message of youth empowerment and social responsibility.

The dedicated team of Project IRAADA — Falak Parekh, Shayaan Patel, Harvy Patel, Kanishka Sheth, Meha Timbadia, Havish Patel, Kashvi Shah, Hridhaan Osatwal, Neev Shah, and Sanaya Raval — has played an active role in planning and execution.

Through impactful slogans, pledge-taking, and social media outreach, the IRAADA Walkathon is not just a walk  it is a collective step toward building a healthier, safer, and addiction-free future.
