New Delhi (India), August 9: At the recently held 9th CII India-LAC Conclave, Dr. Senorita Issac, Trade Commissioner, Western-India region, LATIN AMERICAN CARIBBEAN TRADE COUNCIL and founder of Human Achievers Foundation, recently marked her presence as well.
On occasion, Dr. Senorita Issac also signed an MOU with Imad Agi, Founder and CEO of ECOLOO group, in the presence of the Ambassador of Cuba to India, H.E Mr. Alejandro Simancas Marin.
The conclave was held from the 3rd to the 5th of August, 2023 at Hotel Le Meridian. The Inaugural session was attended by Dr. S. Jaishankar, MEA, Govt. of India, Mr. R Dinesh, President CII, AND Mr. Chandrajit Banerjee, Director General CII. Apart from this, the event was attended by various ambassadors representing different countries and corporates.
As the world transitions into post-pandemic optimism while still dealing with the new geopolitical context, India is all set to feature on the horizon of Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC), stronger than ever before. The LAC region represents excellent opportunities for businesses in India. While the geo-strategic position, coupled with trade agreements, positions India to serve growing markets, the young population, stable government and abundant natural resources provide an advantage to Indian investors, as well. The session focussed on partnership opportunities and discuss strategies.
